This mix is a memorial tribute to Loong Ot (formal name เอนก ทองเดชศรี / Anek Tongdethsri), the legendary record dealer from Chiang Mai. I met Loong Ot at his stall in the JJ Antique Market back in 2008. He was the first record collector friend I made in Chaing Mai. Over the years he hipped me to tons of great Thai records, notably music produced in Northern Thailand and sung in Kam Mueang language. I have many fond memories of digging through boxes of LPs and 45s (and old photos and other interesting stuff) at his antique store and at his home in หมู่บ้านพระเจ้านั่งโก๋น.

Rest in peace Loong Ot!
